Julie Thornton

Toddler teacher at Orchard Park

Julie has been a part of the Doodle Bugs! community since April 2010 and exudes a genuine joy when engaging with the toddlers in her care. When she walks into her toddler classroom the children flock to her, which demonstrates her true connection to them. Her conversations are very interactive and loving. Julie creates a fun environment with lots of dancing and the use of musical instruments. One parent refers to her as the “toddler whisperer”.

The Orchard Park director uses Julie as an example with new hires and struggling teachers because of her natural ability to engage and connect with children and parents alike. She is thoughtful, kind and an overall neat person. Julie is a tremendous asset to our Doodle Bugs! team, and she exudes our C.A.R.E. principles in every way. Thank you, Julie, for all your hard work!
