Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue #19

Our program’s success relies heavily on a strong home/school connection. In fact, that bond between children, families and teachers is the cornerstone of our mission –  to build a community of happy children, happy parents and happy teachers.

We understand that parents are children’s first teachers and invite families to share their traditions, hobbies and interests with the entire doodle community. It is always a pleasure to see Grandma reading a story, Dad stopping in for lunch, or Mom getting messy in the art center!

Today, we’re especially happy to feature a very special big brother, Evan F., who recently treated his sister Lily’s pre-k class to an interactive dinosaur presentation!

Team Tuesday: Evan F. (Webster Center)

  • A Science Olympiad, Evan has lots of experience leading scientific presentations.

  • With some assistance from his little sister, Lily, Evan presented information about dinosaurs and fossils.
  • Our Pre-K students enjoyed a close up look at Evan’s fossils!
  • This hands-on presentation was the perfect supplement to our Dinosaur unit of study.

Many thanks to Evan (and mom!) for sharing your time and talents. The doodle community is a better place because of you!
