12 Directors of Doodle Bugs! Day 2: East Amherst Edition

This month we are taking a moment to recognize the 12 Center Directors from our corporate locations. Being the leader of a child care center is a big job. Not only are Directors overseeing their team, and the daily operations in the center, they are also role models, nurturers, cheerleaders and teachers for all of the children in the building.

It’s day two of the 12 Directors of Doodle Bugs! and today we are hopping over to our East Amherst, NY location to celebrate Center Director, Miss Ann Kinney! Ann has been a part of our team for two years. Prior to her Director role, she spent 9 years in an elementary school teaching grades 2 and 4 in addition to 5 years in early childhood education. Ann also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Development and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education. Her expertise is a huge asset to our program.

When asked what her favorite part of each day is, Ann gushed, “I absolutely love being able to connect with a family by letting them know about a special moment  I shared with their child”. It’s the relationships with the families and children in her center that put a smile on Miss Ann’s face every day.

Ann is proud of the attention to detail at Doodle Bugs! because it helps parents feel confident that their child’s best interests are always a priority.
