Party Art

Is it someone’s birthday in your classroom? Add to the fun with this simple craft:

You Will Need:

Party decorations and supplies (streamers, gift bows, cup cake liners, sprinkles, wrapping paper, ribbons, tissue paper, glitter)
Glue, paint
Paper

Directions:

Spread the party supplies across a large work area.
Give each child a piece of paper to work on. This can be construction paper, newsprint or a large mural canvas.
Using glue or paint, have the children cover their paper with a thin layer.
Let your imagination run wild! Start sticking your materials onto the paper to make “Party Art”! Turn the finished product into a card or a poster for the Birthday Child.
