Doodle Bugs! Friday Five
The holiday season is a magical time of year at Doodle Bugs!. This week has been a fabulous celebration of families, friends and fun.
We extend special thanks to the family members who are sharing the gift of time with us throughout this month — when you stop in to read a Hanukkah story, sing a Christmas carol, or share a favorite recipe, children begin to understand that family traditions are the heart of holiday celebrations.
We’re happy to share 5 great photos from this week’s festivities – enjoy!
- The Cheektowaga center hosted their annual Holiday Extravaganza …
- …and the Orchard Park center did too! Families at both centers enjoyed sharing holiday stories, snacks, songs and special learning centers activities.
- As part of our Holidays Around the World unit, children were introduced to the legend of the poinsettia and learned more about traditional celebrations in Mexico.
- Traditional and creative sombreros were a great addition to our dramatic play!
- Our annual Posada Party was the perfect way to wrap up our study; pinatas and limbo contests added to the fun!
Have a great weekend!
