Meet Leah Sharlow: November Employee of the Month

Leah is the Center Director at our McCandless, PA center and the ultimate personification of our employee creed, the Doodle Bugs! Way.  She is kind, selfless and caring and does an exceptional job making children, parents and staff feel welcome, as soon as they walk through the door.

 

Not only is Leah an exceptional leader for her center’s team, she is an asset to each of our Pittsburgh centers as well as our locations in New York and Florida. She often shares resources and knowledge and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure she is a resource for her peers. She is a cheerleader for those around her and is energized by seeing others succeed.

Leah’s ability to demonstrate operational excellence is her greatest strength. She accepts challenges with a can-do attitude and her willingness to “figure it out” is commendable. Her willingness to take ownership of all aspects of her center is what makes the McCandless center so successful. The last few years have presented new challenges in child care. Through adversity, Leah has stepped up to the plate each and every day to help her center and the entire Doodle Bugs! organization.
