Meet Dawn Comfort: June Employee of the Month

We are so happy to recognize Southpointe Director Assistant, Dawn Comfort, as our June Employee of the Month! Dawn started her Doodle Bugs! journey as a Lead Teacher, where she embodied the term “Happy Teacher”. Her ability to run her classroom with grace and ease and take on any challenge that was thrown her way, quickly earned her a promotion to Director Assistant. In this current role, Dawn has flourished immensely.

Anyone who has met Dawn can attest to her infectious smile, positive attitude, and heart of gold. Team members describe Dawn as someone who is always going out of her way to help others and make everyone feel comfortable. She never turns down a task and is always pushing herself to grow in her role. As an additional bonus, her creativity is second to none! From making festive center displays within an hour, to turning Doodleville into outer space for the Solar Eclipse, she strives to create a fun and welcoming environment for anyone who enters the building.

Dawn has also worn the hat of “Happy Parent”, allowing her to see the center from a different perspective. Dawn has an even deeper respect and appreciation for the work that our staff members do, and this appreciation translates into all the ways she supports her center.

We are so grateful to have Dawn as part of our Doodle Bugs! Team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her as Southpointe’s very first Employee of the Month!
