Doodle Bugs! Celebrates the Season of Gratitude!

November is a special month at Doodle Bugs! – it’s full of festive activities and moments that teach children about gratitude, community, and giving back.

Turkey Trot

One of our favorite traditions is our annual Turkey Trot on Tuesday, November 25th. Children and staff parade around the center with festive props, colorful decorations, and cheerful instruments. It’s lively, fun, and a great way for children to get moving and enjoy a celebration that brings everyone together.

Thanksgiving Feast

The highlight of the month is our Thanksgiving Feast, held on Wednesday, November 26th. This joyful gathering gives children and staff the chance to sit down together, enjoy a delicious meal, and share what they’re thankful for. From laughter and stories to favorite seasonal dishes, it’s a wonderful way to create meaningful memories while celebrating friendship, generosity, and community.

Food Drive

Many of our centers also participate in a center-led food drive from November 3rd–21st. It’s a simple, hands-on way for children to practice giving and understand how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in their community.

At Doodle Bugs!, November is about more than just fun activities – it’s about coming together, celebrating kindness, and helping children experience the joy of giving and gratitude firsthand.
