Meet Abigail Fugere: October Employee of the Month

We are excited to recognize Abigail “Abby” Fugere as our Employee of the Month! Abby has been part of the Doodle Bugs! team for the past four years and has continued to grow as an educator while making a meaningful impact on the children, families, and team members around her.

Abby began her Doodle Bugs! journey as a Teacher Assistant and has worked her way into her current role as a Lead Teacher. Her professional growth reflects her dedication to her classroom, the children, and her continued development as an educator.

In her classroom, Abby thoughtfully implements curriculum while recognizing that every child learns and develops at their own pace. She creates individualized and engaging learning experiences that meet children where they are developmentally. Her classroom is organized, clean, welcoming, and designed to help children feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn.

Abby also takes pride in building strong relationships with families. Through consistent communication and a warm, positive approach, she helps parents feel connected to their child’s experience and confident in the care their child receives.

As a team member, Abby is dependable, flexible, and always willing to lend a hand. She steps in wherever she is needed and approaches each day with a positive attitude. Her willingness to support her coworkers helps create a collaborative and supportive environment for everyone.

One of the things that makes Abby especially memorable is the genuine joy she brings to her classroom. She is often found smiling, laughing, getting down on the children’s level, and joining right in as they play and learn. Her enthusiasm helps create a classroom where children can have fun while building important skills and relationships.

Over the past four years, Abby has demonstrated tremendous growth, dedication, and commitment to the Doodle Bugs! community. She brings dependability, positivity, nurturing care, and a genuine love of teaching to her role each day. Thank you for all you do, Abby!
