September News!

Time to tuck away the bathing suits and make room for book bags and new sneakers. Until next time, summer!

What a wonderful summer it was at Doodle Day Camp– so many exciting adventures! It’s hard to say goodbye after all of the fun, but we have so much to look forward to during the school year ahead.

In this month’s edition of the newsletter, you’ll find all kinds of useful info about this fall. The newsletter will be going home with each child this week and is also ready for download now!

Fan Friday Kickoff Party
Friday, September 9
As the Official Child Care Provider for the Buffalo Bills and The Pittsburgh Steelers (oh, and the Buffalo Sabres too!), we are so excited to kick off another season of Fan Fridays!
Every Friday, we invite our faculty and children to show your team spirit by wearing your team’s colors. On Fan Fridays we’ll also work together to create signs and props that we’ll use in our Fan Friday center parade. As opening day draws near, let’s all show our team pride!

Tae Kwon Do and Doodle Dance & Fitness
Did you know all preschool and pre-k children at Doodle Bugs! participate weekly in Tae Kwon Do enrichment classes? The program is included in our tuition because we recognize that gross motor activities, such as TKD, help to promote positive feelings about physical activity from a young age.

NOTE: Tae Kwon Do began at our Lake Worth, FL last week, all remaining locations will begin the week of September 12.

Grandparents Day Celebration
Wednesday, September 14
Grandparents (or other special guests) are invited to stop in to our centers as we celebrate Grandparents Day! We have lots of special activities planned throughout the day, so come and visit anytime!

Fall Open House
Wednesday, October 5, 5:30-7:00pm
We invite you to stop in for our annual Fall Open House! This family-fun event offers an opportunity to visit with our fantastic faculty, see our wonderful classrooms and meet other families. We will be serving pizza and fruit for dinner and facilitating lots of activities for all in attendance. If you know someone interested in learning more about the Doodle Difference, invite them! Our Open House is a great event for interested families too!

All of our center’s will be closed Monday, September 5th for Labor Day–we’ll reopen Tuesday, September 6th with normal hours. Enjoy the holiday weekend and here’s to a wonderful year ahead!
