HAPPY BACK-TO-SCHOOL!

We are excited to be kicking off another school year full of new learning opportunities – there is so much to look forward to! If you’re new here, our program strikes a balance between guided facilitation and constructive learning, encouraging children to explore new interests and develop new skills every day.

In addition to the thematic lessons that make up a part of our BRAVO Curriculum, we stay active and engaged with additional activities including Tae Kwon Do, STEAM Labs, Doodle Fitness and Music Rocks! – all of which resume this month.

Yoga, a part of Doodle Fitness, helps children of all ages grow flexible and strong in body and mind and is a perfect complement to busy days. We will be making yoga a part of our Doodle Day and encourage you to give it a try at home using our yoga guide.

REMINDER! All centers will be closed on Monday, September 2 for Labor Day!

Fan Friday

To celebrate our partnership with the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers, as their Official Childcare Provider, Fan Fridays are back! Every first Friday of the month we’ll cheer on our teams with spirit parades and other sports-themed fun! Team shirts and paraphernalia are encouraged!

Grandparents Day Celebration

Tuesday, September 10
Grandparents are invited to stop in to our centers as we celebrate Grandparents Day! We have lots of special activities planned throughout the day, so come and visit anytime!

3 Steps to Be the Calm Through Back to School Emotions

Back to school season is filled with BIG emotions. In early childhood education, these feelings are often more obvious (and explosive) based on their still-developing ability to recognize, cope, and manage emotions. So what can we do to help children through the transition?
