• Gobble, gobble! Looking for some Thanksgiving books to share with your child this month? Mr. Doodle Bug recommends: Thanksgiving Day, a beautifully illustrated overview of traditions & history; 10 Fat Turkeys, a super silly favorite; and Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks, a practical explanation of what ‘thankfulness’ means to young children. • Healthy children are happy children! Considering everyone’s concern about this year’s flu season, it’s important to make handwashing a habit. Handwashing is considered the most efffective means of reducing the spread of illness. Please check out this great article for handwashing tips and review the CDC brochure for families here.
