Type of Work Available: Part-Time
Flexible scheduling, no nights/weekends, and 100% paid training!
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and First Aid certifications
- Lifeguard certification
- Swim Instructor Certification by the American Red Cross or YMCA preferred
- Supervise swimming activities at the center pool
- Ensure all aquatics policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed
- Administers first aid in the event of injury
- Rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning; administers CPR
- Regularly inspect the pool area, equipment, and water/chemical ratios
- Demonstrate warmth and affection towards all children in the center
- Attend monthly faculty meetings
- Promote the classroom and the Doodle Bugs! center
- Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing regulations, and staff to child ratios
- Stay current on policies, regulations, laws, standards, and education trends
- A positive work culture that promotes collaboration, communication, and empowerment
- Fully stocked classroom resources
- Our child-centered, play-based curriculum written in-house by a team of education professionals
- Innovative software and technology to help manage your classroom
- Ongoing professional development opportunities such as emergency management training
- Leadership and career growth opportunities
