We know it’s a busy time for your family too, so we’re happy to share some of our favorite helpful Halloween hints:

  • Halloween can be scary for parents of children with food allergies! Bite size sweets don’t always have ingredients listed, friends (with good intentions!) are sharing forbidden treats, and lots of holiday festivities seem to be focused on food. We found 12 great tips for parents, designed to make Halloween less tricky; be sure to scroll down to to the bottom of the page to download a great resource guide too!

  • Jack-o-lanterns, witches and some Wild Things are the not-so-scary stars of the Top 5 Halloween Books for toddlers & preschoolers.  Sharing a good book is always a great holiday tradition!

  • Speaking of Wild Things, are you thinking of taking your child to the big screen version of the book? Some critics are saying that the film (which is rated PG) is just too scary for little ones, prompting a great discussion about scary movies in the New York Times. highlights 032

Enjoy the festivities and be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter updates for event reminders and great photos!
