Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue #7

“I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought,
and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.”
~G.K. Chesterton

It is often said that when love and skill combine, you can expect a masterpiece. This is particularly true in education.

You can see a teacher’s love for her students; it’s obvious in her patience, optimism and genuine affection. You can also see her talent for teaching, evident in her positive communication techniques, skilled classroom management and ability to connect with every child.  The teacher who successfully combines these traits creates the ideal environment for learning – she does, indeed, create a masterpiece.

It is a pleasure to express our gratitude by highlighting two talented individuals in today’s edition of Team Tuesday.

Team Tuesday: Liz Elliott and Eris Karns (Webster center)

  • “Miss Liz does such a nice job running her room. She is so patient and so good at communicating with children !”  — Nicole C., parent of Gunnar

  • “Eris has such wonderful things to say when I pick up Sean. (I appreciate that) she is always so positive!” — Antoinette Q., parent of Sean

Thank you, Liz & Eris, for your obvious commitment to building a community of happy children, happy parents and happy teachers. By building relationships with your students and their families, you are clearly demonstrating that everything we do begins with our HEART.
