Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue #26
“We make a living by what we do,
but we make a life by what we give.”
– Winston Churchill
Doodle Bugs! teaching team is made up of talented, passionate individuals who CARE; these shared values (Commitment, Accoutability, Respect and Excellence) are evident in our classrooms and in the communities we serve. We are especially proud to recognize our outstanding team members for their charitable efforts.
Marissa Lehner (Clarence center)
Marissa Lehner, a valued member of the Doodle Bugs! teaching team and a Clarence native, recently led a volunteer initiative to create a community mural on Amherst Street in Buffalo. Melissa’s organization, Emerging Leaders in the Arts Buffalo, partnered with the Grant/Amherst Business Association to complete the project.
The Buffalo News published ‘Painting a better neighborhood’ on August 1st, featuring Melissa’s incredible work. The article is available here: http://www.buffalonews.com/city/communities/buffalo/article87403.ece
Congratulations, Marissa, on a job well done and thank you for your incredible public service. The doodle community is a better place because of you!
