Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue #218

Meagan SewardFor this week’s edition of Team Tuesday, we would like to highlight Meagan Seward, director assistant at our Lancaster location.

We recently received a phone call and email from a Lancaster parent who wanted to specifically recognize Meagan for her outstanding work. Here is her testimonial:

To follow up from our phone call today, on behalf of myself, and several other parents whose children attend the Doodle Dugs at the Lancaster/Depew location, I would like to recognize the outstanding work of Megan, interim director.  The word used by parents to describe her is “genuine.”  She is so kind and giving to the parents and the children.  Miraculously, Megan knows the details of each child and at any time can tell you a funny or interesting story or tidbit about your child and his/her development.  As a parent, this means so much to think that someone other than ourselves is interested in our child and genuinely cares about their day and their progress – especially from the director of the program.

Megan is also extremely professional.  She is a fantastic interim director.  She is responsive and helpful.  She seems to always be working and available. She is visible at the front of the building when you enter to greet the parent and child.  If she is not near the front of the building (and even if she is) she usually is working with a teacher or holding/speaking with a child.  She can also be seen in the classroom helping.  Megan seems never afraid to roll up her sleeves and help others.  Also, it appears that she is well liked and respected by the staff.

We have had three children attend the Doodle Bugs program (with another on the way) – and as far as directors are concerned – we have been most impressed by Megan and hope that she is always at our location!  Please find some way to recognize and reward Megan for her achievements.

Thank you,

Jennifer Beckage
