Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue #212

November 2014 Employee of the Month

Bonnie Simmons, Assistant Director Victor

Bonnie joined the Doodle Bugs! in Victor as the Assistant Director in 2013. Bonnie started with Doodle Bugs! in East Amherst where she was a UPK teacher for three years. She has a master’s degree in early childhood special education from Buffalo State College. Her kind, thoughtful, and energetic personality quickly endeared her to parents, children, and teachers. Bonnie is often at the from desk brightening everyone’s day. She loves visiting with all our Doodle Bugs! families and sharing information about the day’s events.

Bonnie eagerly steps right into any task and has proven herself a jack-of-all trades, whether it be helping with curriculum, scheduling lunches, or event fixing a toilet! She is a valuable resource for our teaching staff and is always willing to help out with the planning and organization of center activities. She embodies the spirit of Doodle Bugs! and shows that she CARES each and every day.

When not at Doodle Bugs! she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Mike, and cheerleading for the Rochester Razorsharks. We are very thankful to have Bonnie as a part of our Doodle Bugs! family.
