Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue #16

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. “Pooh,” he whispered.
“Yes, Piglet?”
“Nothing,” said Piglet, taking Pooh’s paw,
“I just wanted to be sure of you.”

Are you familiar with the delightful friendship between A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh and his dear friend Piglet? Still a ‘Very Small Animal’ who is often anxious and a bit unsure of himself, Piglet  finds comfort and companionship in his relationship with Pooh. Quite simply, he is sure of Pooh…and trusts that together, they will find their way in the world.

The special relationship between toddlers and their teachers is very similar. Still growing, changing and a bit unsure of thier role in the world, toddlers find love, comfort and trust in their teachers’ arms. Hand in hand, confidence blooms and toddlers feel ‘at home’ because they are sure of their teachers.

Today’s edition of Team Tuesday highlights that relationship, featuring two very special team members who touch the lives of toddlers at our Lancaster center.

Team Tuesday: Miss Katie and Miss Heather (Lancaster)

  • “Let me tell you how happy I am with Doodle Bugs!, you and your staff. I have had contact with many teachers in the center and all have been polite, friendly and happy to see us… “

  • “What can I say about Miss Katie and Miss Heather? They are both wonderful teachers…”
  • Christopher has really blossomed in so many ways. Every afternoon, I look forward to listening to him tell me about his day… I could go on and on!”
    — Kim V., parent of Christopher

Thank you, Katie and Heather, for your genuine commitment to our mission. Your delightful relationship with your toddlers perfectly demonstrates that you CARE.
