Doodle Bugs! Team Tuesday: Issue #113
Directors, faculty members, parents, and children came together on Saturday, June 2nd, to participate in the annual “Stroll For Strong Kids” event to benefit the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Participants enjoyed a beautiful stroll through the University of Rochester’s River Campus and were met with activities and fun events along the way. After completion of the Stroll, everyone on the Doodle Bugs! team congregated back at their tent for food & fun!
“Events like these mean so much to us. We enjoy getting together, especially to support local children and thier families.” states Liz Vandetti, Webster Center Director. Caitlin Beauchaine and Marissa Lee (Henrietta and Penfield Center Directors, respectively) agreed, commenting that the doodle families’ involvement in these events is a meaningful reminder of how important it is for Doodle Bugs! to have strong community connections.
U.S. News & World Report ranked Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Rochester Medical Center as one of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals for Neonatology, Orthopaedics and
Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Thank you to everyone from Rochester that came out last weekend to support such an incredible institution. We believe that our community is truly a better place because we CARE!
