Doodle Bugs! Standard of the Week: 09/10/12

This week’s SOTW reminds team members of the importance of making a positive first impression by greeting guests. This is always important, but especially so during these first few weeks of school — we want families to feel welcome, valued and ‘at home’ in our classrooms, right from the start!

Do teachers greet families by name? Do they greet children at eye level? Follow the 10 foot rule?

All families (new and currently enrolled) will appreciate your attention to these important details. A positive, professional first impression sets the tone for a positive, professional doodle experience.

The SOTW will be posted for parents to see, in the faculty lounge, and placed in each classroom’s mailslot.
