Doodle Bugs! Standard of the Week: 08/27/12

This week’s SOTW focuses on an important doodle detail – doodle birthday celebrations!

Per the center policies and the classroom operations manuals, parties are provided free of charge and include everything families need to celebrate at the center: birthday cake, baked with love by our Kitchen Manager; birthday decorations; a special doodle birthday t-shirt, and a photo of each child enjoying the fun. All events, including birthday celebrations, are designed to promote family engagement and encourage positive faculty/family interactions.

• Every child’s birthday should be a memorable event.
• Please follow ‘Doodle Birthday Procedure’ steps to ensure that each child’s day is extra special.
• Birthday plans should be communicated to the family in advance.
