Doodle Bugs! Standard of the Week: 06/18/12

It’s going to be a hot one this week! Please be sure that water tables AND sprinklers are out and are being used – it is NOT necessary to wait until Summer Camp officially starts to enjoy these fun additions to the doodle day.

• Water play is an essential part of our curriculum.
• Sprinklers are the perfect alternative to wading pools (which are prohibited by OCFS).
• Everyone loves sprinklers!

Please also be sure that teachers are vigilant about sunscreen and are using good judgment outdoors. Are they alternating between sun and shade? Is fresh drinking water available?

The SOTW will be posted for parents to see, in the faculty lounge, and placed in each classroom’s mailslot.
