Doodle Bugs! Standard of the Week: 02/13/12

Happy Monday! This week’s SOTW reminds teachers about the expectations for Open House. Teachers should make a positive, professional impression on families – this enthusiasm will inspire families’ confidence in our program!

• Appearances count! Is your classroom clean, organized & clutter free? Are you appropriately dressed & wearing your name tag?
• Your classroom is your curriculum. Are learning centers well stocked, interesting and appropriate?
• Great your guests. A smile, a handshake and a warm welcome makes a great first impression.
• Personally thank each family for visiting – before they leave, then again the following day.

A copy of this will, as always, be posted for faculty  & families to see. We hope everyone has a successful and fun-filled Open House!
