Doodle Bugs! Friday Five

“I know it is wet
And the sun is not sunny.
But we can have
Lots of good fun
that is funny!”
– Dr. Seuss

This entire week has indeed been ‘lots of good fun that is funny’ — creating the ideal environment for learning! Take a peek at some highlights of our Tribute to Dr. Seuss, a celebration of learning, literacy and laughter:

  1. “It all began with a shoe on the wall. A shoe on the wall should not be there at all.” It was a wacky Wednesday! (Lancaster)
  2. There were parades that featured blue goo and gluey goo! (Cheektowaga)
  3. We caught more than one glimpse of Thing 1 and Thing 2. (Webster)
  4. Birthday parties are always fun! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, Dr. Seuss, happy birthday to you! (Orchard Park)
  5. Last but not least, our favorite readers read our favorite Seuss stories. Many thanks to our teachers, directors, parents, special guests, school agers, even the Cat in the Hat – imagine that! (Clarence)

    Have a great weekend!
