Doodle Bugs! Friday Five

The Doodle Community is buzzing with news & events. Here’s what has been going on and what we have coming up: 

1) We had a wonderful time participating in “Music in our Schools Month,” by having special musical guests come in yesterday and today to perform for us. Thank you to all of our friends, families, and students that helped us celebrate.

2) Next week (Monday, April 1st) kicks off Elementary Spring Recess! It’s not too late to have your School Ager join us, please call  your center director for more information. For a list of scheduled field trips, please click here.

3) The doodle community is one that CARES! In honor of National Children’s Book Day, our Buffalo locations will begin their center-wide book drive. All new or gently used books will be donated to Children’s Hospital, and they will be accepting items until Monday, April 15th.

4) National Week of the Young Child begins on April 15th and carries on throughout the week to April 19th. We are proud to participate in this national initiative designed to focus attention on the needs of young children and their families, and to recognize the programs that meet those needs. We believe that having fun and celebrating the “little things” is an essential part of early childhood, so we’ve planned something special for each day this week. Highlights include guest readers, a book drive, an un-birthday party, and more! Please see the parents’ board and center specific event flyers for more details.

5) We know how word spreads fast about a terrific business and we want to offer our parents the opportunity to feature their personal business on our Doodle Bugs! Facebook page. With over 2,000 fans and hundreds of thousands of families to reach, there’s great potential to grow your customer base!
