Doodle Bugs! Friday Five
The Doodle Community is buzzing with news & events…especially with Turkey Day right around the corner. Here’s what has been going on and what we have coming up:
1) Our annual Turkey Tot will be held on Tuesday, November 20th. Beginning at 10:00AM, each child will gobble through the halls dressed as a turkey. You’re invited to bring your camera to capture the smiles! For your family’s convenience, you can also log in to WatchMewGrow to see us parade through the playroom.
2) Our annual Thanksgiving Feast will take place at lunch time on Wednesday, November 21st. Each classroom will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. We’ll also have plenty of games and stories focused on thankfulness and appreciation.
3) PARENT REMINDER: We will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 22nd. We will resume normal operating hours on Friday, November 23rd.
4) You don’t want to miss this event on Friday, November 23rd. For this annual Day-After-Thanksgiving tradition, everyone comes to school in their jammies. ‘Pillow fights’ and ‘bedtime snacks’ add to the fun!
5) This week wrapped up our Annual Food Drive. Thank you to all our friends & families who donated. We will have a total count of pounds given next week!
