About Us

The Doodle Bugs! Difference

Doodle Bugs! success is directly related to your family’s happiness, so our commitment to children, their parents and our staff is unparalleled in this industry. Unlike traditional “daycare providers,” we give careful attention to each and every aspect of the Doodle Bugs! experience, from our beautifully unique interior designs to our professionally trained staff. Put simply, our family understands your family’s needs, and is committed to exceeding your expectations.

We’re especially proud of the following “doodle differences”:

Innovative Programs

  • Doodle Bugs! unique curriculum integrates traditional teaching methods with state-of-the-art technology and enrichment activities, such as Tae Kwon Do, Spanish, Computer Instruction, and Doodle Dance.
  • Our enrichment programs – which debuted in September 2001, after two full years of research and planning – have proven to be extremely beneficial to the children enrolled at our centers.

  • These programs are so successful that our competitors also have begun to implement enrichment programming. We’re flattered that other centers have recognized our commitment to excellence, and are proud to have our groundbreaking programs serve as a model for others!

Extraordinary Facilities

  • Every Doodle Bugs! center is modern, bright, spotless and designed for safety.

  • Young children are drawn to the spacious classrooms, huge outdoor playgrounds, high-quality furniture, and high-interest learning materials that combine to create the ultimate child-friendly environment.

  • Parents immediately appreciate our obvious commitment to safety; our secure facilities feature biometric entry systems, computerized check-in, and comprehensive video surveillance (with freee web viewing for parents).

  • Our centers are equipped with Automated External Defibrillators (AED). In the very rare instance that your child may need an AED, you can rest assure that we are properly equipped and trained. While elementary schools are required to be equipped with these devices, child care centers are not. Check to see if the other programs that you are considering are AED equipped - chances are they are not.

Outstanding Staff

  • Doodle Bugs! is a great place to work – that's why we attract energetic, loving and well-qualified caregivers.
  • Our lead teachers are degreed in early childhood / elementary education and are required to obtain CPR/AED certification. Teachers, teacher assistants and directors also complete at least 15 hours of in-service training per year.

  • Our employees are appreciated by management, receive above average compensation and are offered many fringe benefits which are typically not provided by other centers in the area.

  • Staff turnover at Doodle Bugs! is nearly fifty percent less than the industry standard.

... and more

  • Doodle Bugs! has been awarded Early Age accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools - Commission on Secondary Schools. We are the first child care and preschool programs in the Buffalo area to be so honored by the Commission. Click here to learn more.

  • Doodle Bugs! is the only company in the child care industry locally with a Professional Training Center. Located at our corporate headquarters, the state-of-the-art training center supplements our staff’s education with amazing in-service training opportunities, including:
